Hi! I’m Megan :)

A woman with dark hair tied back, smiling and holding a glass of white wine, wearing a colorful cherry-patterned blouse, in a warmly lit restaurant with wooden accents and hanging lights.

Have you ever wished you had a best friend that you could text when you have a food question? How about if you’re going to someone’s house and need an appetizer idea? Or you’re trying to impress a date and look like you know things about wine? That’s where I come in!

I’m your neighborhood classically-trained cook and WSET Level 2 (working on 3!) wino who loves to bring people together through a shared meal. I studied hospitality management and wine at Cornell University, got my culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America, and have worked at Food Network, Netflix, Eataly, and even a tasting room at a winery. I’ve traveled the world visiting wine regions and talking with producers.

Even with my professional background, my heart has always been in the humble meals at home and family gatherings filled with memories. These moments have shaped my philosophy that the best things in life, including life itself, are meant to be shared.

Starting at Food Network

A kitchen countertop with a glass pitcher and matching glasses filled with a dark red beverage, garnished with orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and fruit pieces. A smartphone on a tripod captures the scene. There's a blue paper towel under the pitcher, and kitchen items like a toaster and utensils are in the background.
